(More customer reviews)This is the quality that I am used to, and more than willing to spend a little extra on.This vise will last forever, and the jaw defelection is what is stated on the product description.I am using this as a better solution to an arbor type press, I have two 3" wide, high tolerance, expensively machined components that must be pressed together under approximately 1 ton of pressure.Since an arbor press is confined to a smaller press area, this vise is the perfect solution because of its' quality and specs.Less than $50!Note: It is made in China, but this is not typical import junk. Amazing bargain.
